Cycling in North Wales

Black Cat Cycling Club is a cycling club in the county of Conwy on the picturesque North Wales coast. Formed in January 2014, by a group of cyclists who wanted a club that recognised the traditional values of club cycling and above all wanted enjoy their sport together. Since then the club has gone from strength to strength as new members join and new friendships are formed.

Black Cat Cycling Club’s members are all of mixed abilities, some having recently taken up the sport whilst others have ridden and trained with professional cyclists.

Where do they meet?

The Black Cats meet on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays & Sundays (you don’t have to attend every ride to be a member!) usually at the Black Cat roundabout on Glan Conwy Corner, the roundabout from which the club takes it’s name.

Can I Join?

In order to keep the club a close knit community, the membership is capped at 50 people. They are fast approaching this number, but are always keen to encourage active cyclists in the area to apply for membership to the club.
